Cooperation with stakeholders will continue after the end of the project
Partner universities of KyrMedu Project have collaborated successfully to improve the health care sector in Kyrgyzstan through innovative and practice-oriented study programmes. The result of 3,5 years of cooperation is the development and accreditaion of the curriculum "Health Care Informatics and Biomedical Engineerin" BA and "Health Care Management" in MA. They built up their capacities to establish these study programmes and succeeded in differen regard:
- Teacher capacities
- ÍT infrastructure
- Medical Laboratory as a training lab
- Cooperation with stakeholders
- University Network
To ensure the sustainibility of the results different institutions and organisations were involved in the implementing the study programme. In the following the list of the cooperation agreements signed:
- KSTU and The M. Mirrakhimov National Center of Cardiology and Therapy at the Ministry of Health agreed to cooperate in regard of joint research activities, to conduct at the KSTU the scientific and research conferences, exhibitions, seminars and trainings for the medical staff, to supervise the doctoral and postdoctoral studies of medical staff, to publish the research papers and articles at the University research magazines, and to conduct the internships and employments of the graduates of the programme “Health Care Informatics” at the National Center
- KSTU and The LLC KyrgyzMedtechnika (Supplier of medical equipment) are set to cooperate in study and research of new information and communication technologies in medicine and joint training of high-quality professionals and researchers in “Health Care Informatics and Biomedical Engineering”
- KSTU and KSMA will cooperate in regard of the joint trainings of university and vocational education of specialists in Health Care Informatics, lifelong learning trainings for medical staff, integration of vocational education and scientific research
- NSU and Medical and diagnostic center Aga-Khan agreed on joint activities in regard of the internships, practical trainings and possible employment of the graduates of the study programme “Health Care Informatics”
- NSU and Naryn regional united hospital agreed on joint activities in regard of the internships, practical trainings and possible employment of the graduates of the study programme “Health Care Informatics”
- NSU and Naryn Medical College signed a Memorandum of Understanding to cooperate in education of students of Medicine and Health Care Informatics, to support each other with learning, teaching and methodical resources and to exchange of students and staff
- TSU and Talas regional center of family medicine signed a cooperation agreement on providing the TSU places and mentors for internships, practical trainings and supervising the final papers for the students of study programme “Health Care Informatics”
- TSU and Medical Center Makeshova signed a cooperation agreement on providing for the students of TSU places for internships, practical trainings and final thesis
- TSU and Medical Center Karmysheva agree on cooperation to conduct internships, practical trainings and final papers for students of Health Care Informatics
- TSU and Talas Special Hospital of War Veterans and Labor signed a cooperation agreement to conduct internships, trainings and final thesis
- IKSU and Issyk-Kul regional united hospital signed a cooperation agreement on providing places for practice and internships for the Health Care Informatics students and exchange of expertise
- KSMA and other partner Universities have signed a multilateral Agreement on cooperation in shared usage of the Medical Laboratory. This multilateral agreement was extended to a detailed agreement with each university in order to detail the internship’s timetable, responsibilities and access for the requested period of time
- KSMA has direct links to the Ministry of Health. It will facilitate the using the medical laboratory for the students and for the medical staff of Hospitals.
